This documentary explores the vibrant community surrounding a small Orthodox church in Bristol. During my visit, I had the privilege of experiencing their traditional celebration, 'tsiknopempti', which marks the beginning of the fasting period before Easter. Despite being unable to understand the Greek language spoken among the attendees, I felt a palpable sense of belonging among them. I could sense the bonding and loving relationship among them. They eat, they drink, they dance, they talk about everything.

It was clear that this church serves as more than just a place of worship - it is the center of a loving, supportive community. Their warmth, hospitality, and unwavering faith in the face of adversity left an indelible impression on me, as a non-religious person

I want the audience to take a journey with me as a guest of the church community. By following their journey from the 'tsiknopempti' celebration to the church itself, and through interviews with the church's father, viewers will gain a deeper understanding of this close-knit community. Ultimately, I hope to present a heartwarming portrait of a community united not only by their religion but also by their bonds of friendship and community
